How Publications Are Assigned to Your Listing

Quick Answer

Heritage Web assigns your listing to relevant community publications based on your Community Connections, Languages, and Industries. For example, selecting "Iranian" + "Legal Services" may place you on IranianLawyers.com. Assignments happen automatically during the approval process—you don't need to request specific publications.

Overview

Heritage Web operates 300+ community-focused directories like IranianLawyers.com, BlackDoctors.com, WomenAttorneys.com, and LosAbogados.com. Instead of creating separate listings for each site, you create one Profile and we automatically assign it to the publications that match your profile.

All listings appear on HeritageWeb.com (our main directory). Community publications are additional placements based on your selections.

FAQs

Can I request a specific publication? Not directly. Publications are assigned based on your Community Connections, Languages, and Industries. To appear on a specific site, add the relevant selections to your profile.

Why am I not on a publication I expected? Check that you've selected the appropriate Community Connection and/or Language. For example, to appear on IranianLawyers.com, you need "Iranian" in Community Connections AND a legal-related Industry.

Can I appear on publications outside my community? Generally, no. Publications are community-specific. You'll only appear on sites that match your authentic community connections.

What if I serve multiple communities? Add all relevant Community Connections. You may be assigned to multiple publications (e.g., both IranianLawyers.com and WomenAttorneys.com if you select both Iranian and Women).

How do I see which publications I'm on? Check the Publication Table at the top of your Edit Profile page after your listing is approved.
