Using the Publication Table

Quick Answer

The Publication Table shows all publications where your Organization listing appears and lets you control settings for each. Access it in your listing edit page to toggle visibility, enable/disable referrals, and manage how your listing behaves on each community publication.

Overview

After your listing is approved and assigned to publications, the Publication Table becomes your control center for managing your presence across Heritage Web's network. Each row represents a publication, with toggles and settings you can adjust per publication.

Accessing the Publication Table

Step 1: Open Your Listing

  1. Go to your Dashboard

  2. Click My Listings

  3. Select your Organization listing

  4. Click Edit

Step 2: Find the Publication Table

  1. Scroll down to the Publication Table section

  2. The table appears after your listing has been approved

  3. You'll see a row for each assigned publication

FAQs

Why don't I see the Publication Table? It only appears after your listing is approved. Submit your listing for review first.

Can I add publications to my table? No. Publications are assigned automatically based on Languages and Community Connections. Add those to qualify for more publications.

What's the difference between Visibility and Referrals? Visibility controls whether your listing displays. Referrals controls whether you receive lead matches. You can be visible but not receive referrals, or vice versa.

Why would I hide from a publication? You might want to focus on certain communities, or temporarily reduce visibility while updating your listing.

Can I remove a publication entirely? You can hide from it, but can't remove the assignment. To truly remove, you'd need to remove the Language or Community Connection that caused the assignment.

Do changes require re-approval? Publication Table changes (visibility, referrals) typically don't require re-approval. They take effect immediately.
