Heritage Web operates 300+ community publications serving diverse cultural and professional communities. Rather than manually selecting where your listing appears, the system automatically assigns publications based on your listing's language and community attributes. This ensures your Organization reaches the most relevant audiences.

What Determines Publication Assignment

Two primary factors control which publications display your listing:

How They Work Together

Your listing can appear on publications matching EITHER factor:

Viewing Your Assigned Publications

After your listing is approved:

Go to your Organization listing edit page
Scroll to the Publication Table section
View all publications where your listing appears
Each row shows a publication and your settings for it

You can hide from specific publications using the Publication Table

Can I choose which publications I appear on? You influence assignment through Languages and Community Connections. You can then hide from specific publications using the Publication Table, but you can't manually add publications you don't qualify for.

Why don't I see any community publications? Ensure you've added Languages and/or Community Connections to your listing. Without these, you'll only appear on HeritageWeb.com.

How do I appear on more publications? Add more Languages (that your team actually speaks) and Community Connections (that you genuinely identify with). Each addition may qualify you for more publications.

What if I want to remove a publication? Use the Publication Table to hide your listing from specific publications. Your listing remains assigned but won't display there.

Do publication assignments affect my leads? Yes. You can receive referrals from clients on any publication where you're visible and have referrals enabled.
