A video introduction helps visitors connect with you before reaching out. Use it to share your background, explain your services, or welcome potential clients. Videos typically perform best when they're 1-3 minutes long, professionally presented, and include a call to action.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Upload Your Video to YouTube or Vimeo
Create your introduction video
Upload it to YouTube or Vimeo
Set the video to Public or Unlisted (Private videos won't embed)
Copy the video URL from your browser or the share button

Step 2: Add the Video to Your Listing
Log into your Heritage Web dashboard
Click My Profile in the left navigation
Scroll to the Video Introduction section
Click to expand it
Paste your video URL in the Video URL field
A preview should appear if the URL is valid
Step 3: Set Visibility
Use the Visible toggle to control display
Toggle ON to show the video on your public listing
Toggle OFF to hide it temporarily (URL stays saved)
Step 4: Save Your Changes
Click Publish Draft at the top of the page
Changes take effect after approval
Important Notes
Only YouTube and Vimeo videos are supported
Videos must be Public or Unlisted—Private videos won't work
Keep videos 1-3 minutes for best engagement
Include a call to action (e.g., "Schedule a consultation today")
Avoid copyrighted music, which may cause playback issues

Why isn't my video showing? Check that the video is set to Public or Unlisted on YouTube/Vimeo. Private videos cannot be embedded. Also verify the URL format is correct.
Can I use videos from other platforms like Facebook or TikTok? No. Heritage Web only supports YouTube and Vimeo. You can upload your video to one of these platforms and then link it.
What makes a good introduction video? Keep it 1-3 minutes, use good lighting and clear audio, dress professionally, introduce yourself and your services, and end with a call to action. Be authentic—visitors want to get a sense of who you are.
Can I add multiple videos? No. The Video Introduction section supports one video. For a full video library, link to your YouTube channel in the Social Media section.
