Your ability to add team members depends on your listing tier. For events with multiple organizers, co-hosts, or volunteers needing access, upgrading to Sponsor expands your team capacity while also providing other benefits like priority lead matching and SMS notifications.

Maximizing Team Access for Events

For Single Events

If you only have one event listing:

  • Free tier: 1 team member (ideal for solo organizers with one assistant)

  • Sponsor tier: 3 team members (room for co-organizers and key staff)

For Event Series

Organizations hosting multiple events:

  • Each sponsor event adds 3 team slots to your account

  • 5 sponsor events = 15 team member slots

  • All team members can access all events under your account

Mixed Listings

If you also have organization or profile listings:

  • All sponsor listings contribute team slots

  • Slots can be used for any purpose—event help, business management, etc.

What Happens If You Downgrade

If your Sponsor event becomes Free:

  1. 7-day grace period begins

  2. All team members keep access during this time

  3. You're prompted to reduce to within the new limit

  4. After 7 days, excess members are automatically removed (last added, first removed)

You can avoid this by upgrading again before the grace period ends.

Do I lose team members when my event expires? No. Team access continues even after the event date passes. Only your listing tier (Free vs. Sponsor) affects team capacity.

Can temporary event volunteers count as team members? Yes. Add them with an expiration date matching your event. They'll automatically lose access when that date arrives.

If I have recurring events, do slots carry over? Slots are based on your current sponsor listings. If you create a new sponsor event each month, you maintain consistent team capacity.

Is it worth upgrading just for team slots? Sponsor also provides 3 SMS notification recipients, priority visibility, and no login wall for contact details. Team slots are one benefit among several.
