Upgrading your Event to Sponsor increases your visibility across Heritage Web's publication network, unlocks SMS notifications, and speeds up the review process. Since Events are time-sensitive, the faster approval time alone can be valuable when you need to get your event promoted quickly.
Note: Event listings do not participate in lead matching, so lead-related benefits (like 24-hour priority) apply only to your Profile and Organization listings.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Open Your Event Listing
Log in to your Heritage Web dashboard and click My Events in the navigation menu. Select the Event you want to upgrade.
Step 2: Click Upgrade to Sponsor
In the header area of the Event edit page, you'll see the current tier labeled as "Free Event." Click the Upgrade to Sponsor link next to it.
Step 3: Choose Your Billing Cycle
Select your preferred plan:
Monthly: $25 per month
Annual: $240 per year (save 20%)
Step 4: Enter Payment Information
Enter your credit or debit card details. Your card will be charged immediately, and your subscription will auto-renew unless you cancel.
Step 5: Confirmation
Once payment processes, your Event immediately upgrades to Sponsor. You'll see "Sponsor Event" in the header, and all Sponsor benefits activate.

Should I upgrade my Event or my Profile?
It depends on your goals. If you want lead matching priority for client referrals, upgrade your Profile. If you want maximum visibility for a specific event, upgrade that Event. Upgrading either one gives your account access to lead priority benefits.
My event is next week. Is it worth upgrading?
Possibly. Sponsor Events get reviewed within 1 business day and appear above free events in search results. If timing or visibility is critical, the upgrade can help. Consider monthly billing if you're unsure.
What happens to my Sponsor status after the event ends?
Your subscription continues until you cancel. If you don't have another event planned, you may want to cancel before the next billing cycle. Your account keeps any account-wide benefits if you have other Sponsor listings.
Can I use the same Sponsor subscription for my next event?
No. Each Event listing has its own subscription. When you create a new Event listing, it starts as free. You can upgrade it separately.
