Quick Answer

Add social media links in the "Social Media" section of your organization listing. Enter URLs for up to 6 platforms: LinkedIn (Company Page), Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube, Instagram, and Yelp. Filled platforms display as clickable icons on your public listing.

Overview

Social media links help customers connect with your business beyond Heritage Web. They can follow your updates, see customer reviews, and explore your company culture. Only platforms with URLs entered will display—empty fields are simply not shown.

Which Platforms to Prioritize

High Priority:

  • LinkedIn Company Page: Essential for B2B businesses and professional services

  • Yelp: Critical for local businesses—customers check reviews

  • Facebook: Important if you maintain an active business presence

Medium Priority:

  • Instagram: Valuable for restaurants, retail, and visually-oriented businesses

  • YouTube: Important if you have video content

Lower Priority (unless active):

  • X/Twitter: Only if you're regularly active

Important Notes

  • LinkedIn Company URL (not Profile): Organization listings use your Company Page—not a personal profile

  • Full URLs required: Include https:// at the beginning

  • Partial completion OK: Only add platforms you actively use

  • Visibility toggle: You can hide social media without deleting URLs

  • No login wall: Social links are visible to all visitors (not gated)

FAQs

What's the difference between LinkedIn Company URL and LinkedIn Profile URL? Organization listings use LinkedIn Company URL (your company page: linkedin.com/company/companyname). Profile listings use LinkedIn Profile URL (personal profiles: linkedin.com/in/yourname).

We have multiple locations—which social accounts should we link? Link the main company social accounts. If individual locations have separate accounts, consider creating separate Organization listings for each location.

Should I link even if we're not very active on a platform? Only link platforms where you have a meaningful presence. An inactive social profile can create a negative impression.

Can I add other platforms? No. Heritage Web supports the six platforms listed. For other platforms, include links in your Overview section.
