Quick Answer
Check the All day box in Events Schedule to create an event without specific times. This hides the time fields and displays only the date(s) to visitors. Ideal for festivals, open houses, and flexible-attendance gatherings.
Overview
Some events don't have precise start and end times—community festivals, holiday celebrations, or drop-in open houses where attendees come and go throughout the day. The "All day" option removes the time requirement while keeping your event properly scheduled.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Open Events Schedule
Navigate to your event listing
Find and expand the Events Schedule* section
Step 2: Set Your Dates
Select the Start Date using the date picker
Select the End Date (same date for single-day, different for multi-day)
Step 3: Enable All-Day
Check the All day checkbox
Notice the time fields disappear immediately
Only dates and timezone remain visible
Step 4: Confirm Timezone
Select the appropriate timezone for your event location
Even all-day events need a timezone for proper display
Important Notes
When "All day" is checked, you cannot enter specific times
Uncheck the box to restore time fields if needed
Your event description should mention general hours if helpful (e.g., "Gates open 10 AM - 8 PM")
Both single-day and multi-day events can be marked as all-day
FAQs
When should I use all-day vs. specific times? Use all-day for events where: attendees can arrive/leave flexibly, there's no formal program start, or the event spans "open to close" without specific times. Use specific times for events with scheduled programming, keynotes, or defined sessions.
Can I switch between all-day and timed after publishing? Yes. Edit your event, uncheck or check the "All day" box, add times if needed, and submit for re-review.
How does an all-day event display to visitors? Visitors see the date(s) without times—for example, "July 4, 2025" or "July 4-6, 2025" with no time information shown.
