Quick Answer

Event listings promote specific events—conferences, festivals, workshops, meetups, and gatherings—across Heritage Web's network of 300+ community publications. Unlike Profile and Organization listings, Events don't participate in lead matching; they're designed for promotion and visibility. Events expire automatically after the event date passes.

Overview

Event listings help you reach community audiences for your upcoming events. Whether you're hosting a legal conference, cultural festival, networking meetup, or educational workshop, an Event listing gets your event in front of the right communities based on languages spoken and community connections.

Anyone with a Heritage Web account can create Event listings—you don't need an existing Profile or Organization listing first.

Can I create multiple Event listings? Yes. There's no limit. Create separate listings for each event you want to promote.

What happens when my event is over? Your Event listing expires automatically after the event date. It's removed from public publications, and the Private Message button is disabled. Past conversations remain accessible in your inbox.

Do Events get leads like Profiles and Organizations? No. Events don't participate in lead matching. They're designed for promotion and visibility, not client referrals.

Can attendees contact me through the Event listing? Yes, through Private Messages (if enabled), your Event Website link, or venue contact information.
