Quick Answer

Organization listings represent businesses, companies, or nonprofits on Heritage Web, separate from individual professional Profile listings. Create an Organization listing to showcase your business with its own logo, locations, hours, and team information across 300+ community publications.

Overview

While your Profile listing represents you as an individual professional, an Organization listing represents your business entity. Many Heritage Web users maintain both: a Profile for their personal credentials and an Organization listing for their company.

Organization listings are ideal for law firms, medical practices, restaurants, retail stores, nonprofits, franchise locations, and any business with its own brand identity.

Important Notes

  • Logo and Industries are required—your Organization listing can't be submitted without them

  • Organization listings must be approved before appearing on publications

  • You can create multiple Organization listings from one account

  • Unlike Profiles, Organization listings can be deleted if no longer needed

  • You can pause your Organization using the Publishing Status control to temporarily hide it from all publications

FAQs

Can I have both a Profile and an Organization listing? Yes, and many business owners do. Your Profile showcases your personal credentials while your Organization listing represents your business.

Do I need an Organization listing if I'm a solo practitioner? Not necessarily. Many solo practitioners use only their Profile listing. An Organization listing makes sense if you operate under a business name or want separate branding for your practice.

How many Organization listings can I create? There's no limit. You can create as many Organization listings as you need for different businesses or locations.

What's the difference between Organization and Profile lead matching? Both participate equally in lead matching. However, when the same account has both listings matched to a lead, the Profile takes priority in display order.
