Quick Answer
Configure who receives alerts about your profile activity in the Notifications tab. Add unlimited email recipients (Free and Sponsor) and up to 5 SMS recipients (Sponsor only). All recipients must be verified before receiving notifications.
Overview
When someone messages your profile, purchases a lead, or when your listing status changes, Heritage Web sends notifications to your configured recipients. Email notifications are available to everyone, while SMS notifications are exclusive to Sponsor profiles.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Access the Notifications Tab
Go to your Dashboard and select your profile listing
Click the Notifications tab (last tab in the navigation)
Step 2: Add Email Recipients
Your account email appears automatically under Email Recipients
Click + Add Email Recipient to add additional addresses
Enter the email address and click to send a verification code
Check the recipient's inbox for a 6-digit code
Enter the code to complete verification
The email now shows "● Verified" and will receive notifications
Step 3: Add SMS Recipients (Sponsor Only)
Under SMS Recipients, click + Add SMS Recipient
Enter the phone number
A verification code will be sent via text message
Enter the 6-digit code to verify
The phone number will begin receiving SMS alerts
Step 4: Configure Notification Types
Review the Notification Types section to control which alerts are sent:

Important Notes
Verification must be completed in the same browser session—closing the page cancels the process
Each listing requires separate verification; adding someone to your profile doesn't add them to your organization
SMS recipients remain saved if you downgrade from Sponsor—they reactivate when you upgrade again
All verified recipients receive the same notifications (no per-recipient customization)
FAQs
Why isn't my team member getting notifications? Being added as a Team Member provides inbox access, not email alerts. You must also add their email in the Notifications tab and complete verification.
How long is the verification code valid? Codes expire after 30 minutes. Request a new code if yours expires.
Can I remove my account email from notifications? No. Your primary account email always receives notifications. You can add additional recipients but cannot remove the account email.
What happens to SMS if my Sponsor subscription ends? SMS recipients are preserved but greyed out. They'll automatically resume receiving notifications when you renew your Sponsor subscription.
