Configure notification delivery for business inquiries, leads, and account updates

Quick Answer

Access the Notifications tab in your organization editor to set up who receives alerts. Add unlimited email addresses and up to 5 SMS recipients (Sponsor only). Notifications cover private messages, paid leads, pro bono opportunities, and administrative updates.

Overview

Your organization listing can generate several types of notifications: customer inquiries via private messages, referral leads, and administrative alerts about your listing status. The Notifications tab lets you route these alerts to the right people on your team.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Navigate to Notification Settings

  1. Open your Dashboard and select your organization listing

  2. Click the Notifications tab (the last tab)

Step 2: Review Your Account Email

Your primary Heritage Web account email appears automatically and cannot be removed. This ensures you always receive critical notifications.

Step 3: Add Additional Email Recipients

  1. Click + Add Email Recipient

  2. Enter the team member's email address

  3. A 6-digit verification code is sent immediately

  4. The recipient enters the code (must be done in the same session)

  5. Once verified, they'll receive notifications based on your toggle settings

Step 4: Add SMS Recipients (Sponsor Only)

  1. Click + Add SMS Recipient (up to 5 included)

  2. Enter a mobile phone number

  3. Enter the SMS verification code

  4. The number begins receiving text alerts

Step 5: Configure Alert Categories

Toggle each notification type on or off:

  • Paid Leads: Alerts when new referral leads match your organization

  • Pro Bono Leads: Notifications for pro bono case matches

  • Private Messages: Alerts when visitors message your listing

  • Listing Management: Approval, rejection, and status updates (always on)

  • Billing & Payment: Subscription and payment confirmations (email always on)

Important Notes

  • Paid leads and pro bono notifications include request details but not contact information until you purchase/accept the lead

  • SMS notifications are included with Sponsor subscriptions at no additional cost

  • Verification is required for each listing separately

FAQs

Can different team members receive different notification types? No. All verified recipients receive the same notifications based on your toggle settings. Per-recipient customization is not available.

We have multiple locations—do they share notifications? Each organization listing has its own notification settings. If you have separate listings for each location, configure notifications independently for each.

What's the turnaround for lead notifications? Notifications are sent immediately when a new lead matches your organization. Enable SMS for the fastest alerts.
