Heritage Web partners with Stripe to let visitors support nonprofit organizations listed on the platform. When a nonprofit has been verified and approved for donations, you'll see a Donate button on their listing page along with a trust banner confirming their verified status. All payments are processed securely by Stripe, and 100% of your donation goes to the organization.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Find a Nonprofit Listing
Browse or search for an organization on any Heritage Web publication. Nonprofits that accept donations display a Donate button and a trust banner reading "Verified Nonprofit · Donations processed securely via Stripe."
Step 2: Click the Donate Button
Click Donate on the organization's listing page. You'll be redirected to a secure Stripe Checkout page.
Step 3: Choose Your Donation Amount
On the Stripe Checkout page, select a preset amount or enter a custom amount:

Step 4: Choose One-Time or Monthly
If you'd like to donate monthly, toggle "Make this a monthly donation." This sets up an automatic recurring charge on the same date each month. Leave the toggle off for a one-time donation.
Step 5: Complete Payment
Enter your payment details and confirm. Stripe accepts major credit and debit cards. After payment, you'll be redirected back to the organization's listing page with a confirmation message: "Thank you for your donation to [Organization Name]!"
