Quick Answer
Enter your company's headquarters location in the Hiring Organization section. Country, State, City, and ZIP code are required; street address is optional. This establishes your company as a legitimate, locatable entity and is separate from where the job will actually be performed.
Overview
The Headquarters Location tells candidates where your company is based. This helps them understand your company's geographic footprint and provides verification that you're a real business. It's important to note that Headquarters is different from Workplace Location—headquarters is where your company is based, while workplace location (in Position Details) is where the actual job is performed.

What's Required vs. Optional
Field | Required | Notes |

Country | Yes | Must select first—enables State dropdown |
State/Province | Yes | Populates after Country selection |
City | Yes | Text field—type city name |
ZIP/Postal Code | Yes | Required for verification |
Important Notes
Country must be selected first—the State dropdown depends on it.
ZIP code is required—unlike Workplace Location which doesn't include ZIP.

This is headquarters, not workplace—enter where your company is based, not where the job is performed.
Reviewed during approval—staff verify the address appears legitimate.
Common Scenarios

Job at Branch Office

Company is headquartered in San Francisco, but this role is in Austin.

FAQs
Why is ZIP code required for headquarters but not for workplace?
Headquarters serves as company verification—the complete address helps establish legitimacy. Workplace location just needs city-level context for candidates deciding where they'd work.
What if we're a remote-only company with no physical headquarters?
Enter your registered business address or the location where your company is legally incorporated. Every business has some official address for legal purposes.
Can I use a P.O. Box?
A physical address is preferred for credibility. If your only official address is a P.O. Box or registered agent address, you can use it, but it may receive additional scrutiny during review.
What if we have multiple headquarters?
Enter your primary or global headquarters. You can mention additional major offices in your company description if relevant.
Why do candidates need to know our headquarters?
It helps them understand your company's origin, scale, and legitimacy. A company headquartered in San Francisco has a different feel than one in Austin or New York—this context matters to candidates.
Does headquarters affect where my job listing appears?
Workplace Location (for in-person/hybrid jobs) has more impact on geographic placement than headquarters. Headquarters is primarily for company credibility and context.
