Understanding Prorated Charges & Plan Changes

How subscription adjustments affect your billing.

Upgrades, downgrades, or cancellations mid‑cycle trigger prorated charges or credits. Here’s how it works.

1. Upgrade or Downgrade Plans

  • In Subscription Settings, choose a new plan—charges adjust based on days remaining.

2. Proration Calculations

  • Credit for unused time on the old plan; charge for the new plan’s remaining period.

  • You’ll see the net amount before confirming the change.

3. Cancellation Credits

  • Cancelling before cycle end grants a prorated credit applied to your account.

4. View Proration Details

  • In Payment History, click the transaction to see line‑item proration.
