Quick Answer

View referral stats in two places: Basic metrics (clicks, signups, revenue) in Heritage Web Dashboard → Partners, or detailed analytics in Partner Portal → Dashboard and Referrals for complete tracking history.

Overview

Track your referral performance through real-time metrics that show clicks, sign-ups, sales, and revenue. The Heritage Web Dashboard provides quick stats while the Partner Portal offers comprehensive analytics with filtering, search, and activity history. Regularly monitor performance to optimize your promotional strategies.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Viewing Basic Stats in Heritage Web Dashboard

Step 1: Access Partner Overview

Log in to dashboard.heritageweb.com with your Heritage Web credentials. Click "Partners" in the left sidebar menu. Your referral statistics display at the top of the page.

Step 2: Review Key Metrics

View your performance snapshot showing four metrics:

  • Link Clicks: Total number of times your referral links were clicked

  • Signups: Number of accounts created through your links

  • Sales: Converted paid subscriptions from your referrals

  • Earnings (Pending): Your current commission balance awaiting payout

The "Last Updated" timestamp shows when stats were refreshed. Click "Refresh" to update metrics if needed.

Step 3: Access Partner Portal Dashboard

Log in to partners.heritageweb.com with your Partner Portal credentials. The Dashboard page opens automatically, showing comprehensive stats. Review the same four key metrics with additional detail.

Step 4: Check Recent Activity

Scroll to the "Recent activity" section on the Dashboard. View your latest referrals in a table format showing:

  • Referral: Email address of the person who signed up

  • Action: Type of activity (Signup, Sale, Renewal)

  • Reward: Commission amount earned

  • Status: Current status (OK, Pending, Rejected)

  • Date: When the activity occurred

Click "View full activity" to see the complete history.

Step 5: Navigate to the Referrals Page

Click "Referrals" in the top navigation for advanced tracking. Use the search bar to find specific referrals by email or name. Filter by action type using the dropdown menu (Any, Signup, Sale, Renewal, Refund). Set date ranges to analyze specific periods.

Step 6: Analyze Individual Referrals

Click on any referral entry to view detailed information. See the complete journey from click to conversion. Track commission status and payment eligibility. Monitor if referrals are within the 365-day claim period.

Tracking Multiple Campaign Links

Step 7: Monitor Custom Links

Navigate to Resources in the Partner Portal. View performance for each custom referral link separately. Compare clicks and signups across different campaigns. Identify which sources generate the most valuable referrals.

Important Notes

  • Real-time updates: Stats refresh automatically, but may have 5-10 minute delays

  • Cookie attribution: Referrals track within 60 days of link click

  • Commission timing: Sales show immediately, but commissions processed monthly

  • Status meanings: OK = approved, Pending = awaiting verification, Rejected = didn't qualify

  • 365-day expiration: Monitor older commissions to claim before expiration

FAQs

Why don't my clicks match signups? Normal conversion rates range from 2-10%. Many people click but don't sign up immediately. The 60-day cookie window captures delayed signups.

What does "Rejected reward" mean? Referrals may be rejected for duplicate accounts, fraudulent activity, or immediate cancellations. Contact [email protected] for specific cases.

Can I export my referral data? Currently, manual tracking is required. Copy data from the tables to your spreadsheet for long-term analysis.

How quickly do stats update? Link clicks appear within minutes. Signups and sales typically show within 5-10 minutes of occurring. Refresh the page if expecting new activity.

Why did a commission disappear? Check if it exceeded the 365-day claim period. Expired commissions are removed from your balance. Set up PayPal payments to avoid expiration.
