Quick Answer

Use the Parent Organization section when a group, company, or association is hosting your event and you want visitors to see who's behind it. This section is optional for events—skip it if your event doesn't have a clear organizational host.

Overview

The Parent Organization section displays information about the entity responsible for your event. It includes a logo, organization name, description, website, and headquarters location. This helps attendees understand who's organizing the event and adds credibility to your listing.

FAQs

Is this different from my Heritage Web organization listing? Yes. Parent Organization is informational text about the hosting entity. Even if you have a separate Organization listing on Heritage Web, you'll enter parent organization details manually.

What if I'm the organizer but not a formal organization? Skip this section. Your event stands on its own, and your contact information is already on the listing.

Can I change the parent organization after publishing? Yes. Edit your event, update the parent organization details, and submit for re-review.
