FAQs
What's the difference between Association Memberships and Community Connections? Association Memberships showcase your professional affiliations (for credibility). Community Connections determines which Heritage Web publications your listing appears on. They serve different purposes—memberships are display-only; Community Connections affects publication placement.
Should I include cultural business associations? Absolutely. Organizations like the Iranian American Chamber of Commerce, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, or Black Business Association are excellent additions that show your community involvement.
Can I add certifications like BBB or WBENC? These are better suited for the Licenses & Certifications section, where they can be verified. Use Association Memberships for organizations where you're a member, not certified by.
Can I hide my memberships from the public listing? Yes. Toggle visibility off in the section header. Your membership information is saved but won't display publicly.
