Clarifying Your Consultation Terms

The Free Consultations section is a Yes/No declaration only. To specify duration or conditions, add details to your Bio:

  • "Free 30-minute phone consultation for new clients"

  • "Complimentary initial case evaluation by appointment"

  • "Free 15-minute discovery call to discuss your needs"

Important Notes

  • Visible to all: Your consultation status displays to Free and Sponsor tier visitors alike

  • Integrated with leads: Status is shared when you're matched with referral requests

  • Filter benefit: Selecting "Yes" makes you discoverable via filtered searches

  • Visibility toggle: You can hide the section temporarily without losing your selection

FAQs

Does this create an appointment booking system? No. This declares that you offer free consultations. For actual booking, set up Calendly Integration separately. Using both together is most effective.

What if I offer free consultations but want to hide it temporarily? Toggle visibility off in the section header. Your "Yes" selection is preserved but hidden from the public listing and not shared with leads.

Will I get more leads if I enable this? You'll appear in filtered searches for professionals offering free consultations, which can increase visibility. You'll also stand out to leads who see your status in referral notifications.

Is this common in my industry? Free initial consultations are standard in legal services (especially personal injury, immigration, family law), real estate, and financial advising. Enabling it helps you match industry expectations.
