Heritage Web 2.0 lets you save your work as Drafts and only submit when you’re ready. Understanding the difference ensures you never publish unfinished updates.

1. Saving Drafts

  • After any edit, click Save Draft—your changes are stored but not sent for review.

  • A “Changes in Draft” banner appears at the top of the Edit page.

2. Reviewing & Editing Drafts

  • Click the Draft banner to expand a list of unsent edits by section.

  • Return anytime to add, modify, or remove draft changes.

3. Submitting for Review

  1. Once satisfied, click Submit Changes for Review—status becomes Pending Review.

  2. Your draft locks in and cannot be edited until approved or rejected.

4. Discarding Drafts

  • To abandon all pending changes, click Discard Draft in the banner—reverts to last approved state.
