How to Get Access to the Pro Bono Dashboard

Quick Answer

The Pro Bono Dashboard is immediately accessible from your main menu after creating an account. However, to receive matched pro bono opportunities and click "I'll Take It," you must have at least one approved listing (profile, organization, job, or event) in the system.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Create Your Heritage Web Account

Sign up for a free account at your chosen Heritage Web publication. You'll need to provide basic information, including email and password.

Step 2: Access the Dashboard Menu

Once logged in, locate "Pro Bono Dashboard" in your main navigation menu. Click to open the dashboard immediately - no waiting period required.

Step 3: Submit a Listing for Approval

To receive matched opportunities, create at least one listing:

  • Navigate to the appropriate section (Profile, Organization, Job, or Event Listings)

  • Complete all required fields including credentials and specialties

  • Submit for review

  • Wait for approval: 1 business day for sponsors, 2-3 days for free listings

Step 4: Start Receiving Matches

After approval, pro bono opportunities matching your credentials will appear in your dashboard's "New" tab. The "I'll Take It" button only appears on opportunities that match your approved listings.

FAQs

Q: Can I browse the Pro Bono Dashboard without an approved listing? A: Yes, you can access and browse the dashboard immediately, but you won't see any matched opportunities or be able to accept cases until you have an approved listing.

Q: Which listing type should I create for pro bono work? A: Most professionals use Profile or Organization listings with professional credentials. Any approved listing type enables pro bono matching.
