Each profile and listing on our platform has a

  • Primary status, reflecting its primary state

  • Review status indicates the progress of our team’s review of any changes.

This guide explains the different listing "Review Status." For an overview of primary status, please refer to the "Profile and Listing Primary Status" guide.

Review Status Options:

  1. Pending Review

  2. Approved

  3. Rejected

Pending Review

The Heritage Web team reviews all new profiles and listings and changes to existing ones to ensure accuracy and professionalism on the network.

  • New profiles and listings submitted for review will show a "Pending Review" status

  • Submitting changes to existing profiles and listings will put the profile or listing in a “Pending Review” status, too.

  • Existing active profiles and listings with pending edits remain published with the original information until the changes are approved.

  • After a new profile or listing or changes to an existing one is submitted for review, an email notification is sent to your account's primary email address.

Approved

We typically review new and edited profiles and listings within 2 to 3 business days.

  • Approved status indicates that the new profile or listing or edits to them have been approved and published.

  • The profile or listing’s primary status will show as “Active.”

  • After a new profile or listing or changes to an existing one are approved, an email notification is sent to your account's primary email address.

Rejected

The primary reason a new profile listing or changes to an existing one is rejected is incomplete or inaccurate information.

  • Rejected status indicates that the profile listing or its edits have not been approved.

  • Rejected new profiles or listings are not published

  • Active profiles or listings with rejected edits remain published with the original information.

  • After a new profile or listing or changes to an existing one are rejected, an email notification, including the reason for rejection, is sent to your account's primary email address.
