Why You're Not Seeing Leads

Quick Answer

The most common reason for not seeing leads is lacking an approved listing. You must have at least one approved listing (profile, organization, job, or event) to receive matched leads. Other factors include your specialty selections, service radius, language settings, and whether you have any active listings in the system.

Overview

If your Leads Dashboard shows no available leads or displays the empty state, several factors could be preventing matches. This troubleshooting guide helps you identify and resolve the most common issues that prevent professionals from receiving leads.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Verify Listing Approval Status

Check that you have at least one approved listing:

  • Navigate to your Profile, Organization, Job, or Event Listings

  • Look for "Approved" status (not "Pending" or "Draft")

  • Approval takes 1 business day for sponsors, 2-3 days for free listings

  • No leads will match until approval is complete

Step 2: Check Your Specialties

Review your specialty selections in your approved listings:

  • You can select up to 7 specialties per listing

  • More specialties = more potential matches

  • Ensure specialties match your actual expertise

  • Consider adding broader categories if too narrow

Step 3: Review Your Service Radius

Your default radius is 75 miles from your location:

  • Email [email protected] to adjust your radius

  • Consider expanding to "No Limit" for more matches

  • Remember: wider radius means more travel

  • National practices (Immigration, Bankruptcy) can serve anywhere with one license

Step 4: Verify Language Settings

Check languages listed in your profile:

  • Include all languages you speak

  • Add languages your team members speak

  • Team languages count for matching

  • More languages = more match opportunities

Step 5: Check Your Publication Listings

Ensure you're listed on active publications:

  • List on multiple publications for more matches

  • Community-specific publications get priority matches

  • Global publications provide secondary matches

  • Each publication increases your visibility

Step 6: Review Market Demand

Consider your location and specialty combination:

  • Some specialties have lower demand in certain areas

  • Rural areas may have fewer leads

  • Highly specialized practices get fewer but higher-quality matches

  • Check Analytics to see demand patterns

FAQs

Q: I just got approved but still see no leads. Why? A: New leads are matched as they come in. It may take 24-48 hours to see your first matches depending on demand in your area and specialties.

Q: My colleague in the same office gets leads but I don't. What's wrong? A: Compare your listings: check specialties, languages, radius settings, and ensure you're both listed on the same publications. Sponsor listings also get 24-hour priority.

Q: I had leads before but suddenly stopped receiving them. What happened? A: Check if your listing expired, if you made changes that are pending approval, or if your payment failed (for sponsor listings). A 7-day grace period applies to failed payments.

Q: Can I see leads that don't match my listings? A: No. The system only shows leads that match your approved listings based on the 6-filter matching system.
