There are two ways to delete referral requests - via your Heritage Web account or via email.
If you have a Heritage Web account, you can delete your referral request in the Heritage Web dashboard:
Select “Referrals” in the header menu
Select “My Requests” to view a list of your submitted referral requests
Click “Read More” on the specific request you wish to delete
Scroll to the bottom and click “Delete Request”. Confirm your selection
Alternatively, or if you do not have a Heritage Web account, please send us an email at [email protected] and we will assist with your request.
Deletion Details
If a request is deleted before it is matched with a professional or organization or if we were not able to find match the request with a professional or organization, the request will be deleted from our system immediately.
If a request is deleted after our system has identified a match, the request description and contact information added to the request will be deleted immediately. Remaining request information such as location (city, state) and practice area will be anonymized and remain in our system.
Once our system has matched the request with a professional or an organization, we send out email and SMS notifications to different parties involved depending on their notification settings. If we receive a request to delete a referral request after our system has matched a request, we have no way of deleting notifications that are already sent by that time. Future notifications related to that request will be stopped.
