After manual review, our matching engine applies six key filters to pair each request with listings that meet the client’s criteria.

Filter

Description

Publication

Matches the Publication where the form was submitted and the corresponding global directory.

License

Checks for required, valid licenses (state- or country-specific) for regulated professions.

Specialty

Filters on listed practice areas and sub-specialties (e.g., Family Law, Child Custody).

Language

Ensures the listing’s spoken languages match the client’s preferences or needs.

Distance

Compares client ZIP to your office ZIPs against your “Referral Radius” (miles); 0 or No Limit disables this filter.

Experience

If multiple listings qualify, the system orders by highest years of experience.

Example:
A car-accident referral in zip 90210 on “Legalglobal.com” matches attorneys in CA with a Personal Injury specialty, valid license, English/Spanish skills, within your 10-mile radius, and most experience.
